Never dull Neutrals

Never Dull Neutrals

Hi There

Today I am going to be talking about my neutral nail polish collection, so let’s get started.

Essie Spin the Bottle; a pale skin tone shade. This was part of the spring 2014 collection. This is a really easy shade to wear, and looks good on its own or with glitter toppers.

Sally Hansen Mudslide; a clay shade. This is a darker neutral and works great as a fall shade.

Elf Blushing Beauty; a tan/gold with gold shimmer. This was part of the jewel 14pc nail cube. This is such a pretty colour, and would look great at prom or a wedding.

Zoya Godiva; a pale sand with gold shimmer. This was part of the pixie dust spring 2013 collection. This is the lightest of the pixie dust and makes a great work appropriate colour.

Opi My Vampire is Buff; a pale cream/white shade. This was part of the euro centrale collection. I love this name, I wore it with Barry M rose quartz as a fade French tip manicure.

Opi Classic; a tan holographic glitter. This is part of the DS collection. This is an amazing holographic polish and just sparkles in the day light.

Opi Did you ear about Van Gogh?; a mushroom shade. This was part of the Holland 2012 collection. This is such an elegant shade.

Butter London All hail the Queen; a taupe with silver shimmer. I really love this shade and I am so glad I got my hands on it.

Zoya Jacqueline: a nude flesh colour. This was part of the lovely collection spring 2013. This is a bit darker than Opi My vampire is buff. And would make a great base for glitter manicures.

Essie Jazz; a light taupe shade. This was part of the spring 2011 collection. Another great work appropriate shade.

So that is my neutral nail polish collection. Look out for Browns next.

Shades of Grey part 2

Shades of Grey part 2

Hi there

This is my grey nail polish collection part 2.

Essie Bobbing for Bubbles; a dark blue/grey shade. This was part of the cocktail bling collection. This is new to my Essie collection and makes a great fall colour.

Essie Smoking hot; a dark grey/mauve. This was part of the winter 2010 collection. Another great fall shade.

Opi Skull and Glossbone; a pale grey shade. This was part of the Pirates of the Caribbean stranger tides collection. A great work appropriate colour. I wore this with Ciate snow globe.

Essie Chinchilly; a chinchilla grey shade. This was part of the fall 2009 collection. This is one of Essie iconic shades.

Nails Inc Porchester square; a light grey shade. This is the gel version of this shade. It is similar to Essie Chinchilly but slightly lighter.

Essie Power Clutch; a grey/green shade. This was part of the fall 2011 collection. This is a unique colour to my collection. This will also be a great fall shade, on it own or with gold shimmer.

Elf Misty Haze; a light blue/grey shade. This was part of the jewel 14pc nail cube. A great summer to fall shade.

China Glaze Stone cold; a dark grey silver shimmer. This was part of the Hunger games collection representing distract 2 masonry. This shade dries matte but I prefer it with a top coat.

Zoya London; a light grey with silver shimmer. This was part of the spring 2013 pixie dust collection. Pixie dust is such a quick manicure it requires not base or top coat.

Zoya Kelly; a grey mauve shade. This was part of the wonderful collection. Yet another great fall shade.

So that is my grey nail polish collection, look out for Nude polishes next.

Shades of grey part 1

Shades of Grey part 1

Hi There

So today I am talking about my grey nail polish. This is part 1.

Elf smoky brown; a grey/brown cream polish. This was part of the jewel 14pc nail cube. I really love this shade for fall and have had many people ask me where it’s from.

Essie Merino Cool; a grey mauve shade. This was part of the fall 2010 collection. This is one of my all-time favourite Essie shade. I wore this with China glaze cg in the city.

Model’s own Utopia; a very pale purple grey. This I believe to be part of Model’s own permanent line. You can wear this own its own or it would look amazing with a silver glitter.

Elf Desert Haze; a grey tan shade. This again was part of the jewel 14pc nail cube. I wore this with Elf chic confetti.

Ciate Pillow Fight; a grey/purple shade. This was part of last year’s mini mani advent calendar. I wore this with an accent nail of Ciate fit for a queen.

Illamasqua Facet; a grey/gold duo chrome with gold shimmer. This was part of the sacred hour collection. This is such a usual polish and quite unique to my collection.

So that’s it for part one look out for part 2.

Glass of Burgundy

Glass of Burgundy

Hi there

Today I am going to talk about my Burgundy polish, I have three polishes to talk about so let’s get started.

Nails Inc Victoria; a dark wine burgundy shade. This is a hero shade at Nails Inc. This is the lighter of the 3 shades. This shade can be wore all year round.

Essie Wicked; a brown burgundy shade. This shade a believe is permanent. Essie also has Skirting the Issue a very similar shade.

Topshop Bomber; a purple burgundy shade. I got this as part of the editor’s collection on Cult Beauty. This is the darkest of the 3 shades.

So that is my Burgundy polishes. Next will be Greys.
