Bobbi Brown is great at bringing out neutral palettes and this collection is no expectation. The nude on nude collection contains a 12 piece eyeshadow palette, a mascara and gel eyeliner.

 

The palette is sleek, black packaging with beige writing. Inside are 12 eyeshadows of good size. There are 5 matte shades, 2 shimmer shades and 5 glitter shades.

On the top row is ivory, a creamy white matte shade. Great for an all over base colour or inner corner highlight. Chiffon is a pale gold glitter shade. Golden pink is a metallic pinky beige. And last on the top row is graphite a mauve brown shimmer shade. On the middle row, Gold is a champagne shimmer shade. Naked is a medium neutral pink matte shade. Nude beach is a metallic soft pink nude. Birch is a soft matte brown. Last row Smokey topaz is a metallic grey brown. Truffle is a grey pink matte shade. Golden bronze is a metallic medium bronze gold. Espresso is a dark chocolate brown matte shade.

 

There is so many looks that you could do with this palette. The colour pay off on these shades are amazing and are so blendable. My next blog post will be a makeup look using this palette.

 

This collection comes with a mascara. The mascara is the smokey eye mascara which is part of the permanent line. This mascara is used for defining and adding volume to your lashes. It is made with kohl pigments and has a thick bristle brush to coat every lash, even the small ones. This mascara is award winning and makes a great addition to this collection.

 

Bobbi Brown have also included a gel liner to this collection. The perfectly defined gel eyeliner stylo is smudge resistant and fade proof. This is also part of their permanent line and comes in 5 other shades, the one in the collection is pitch black. It’s nice to see a gel liner in a pencil form, as I am not a fan of the ones in the little pots. This liner is also 12hr water resistant. With its creamy texture you will feel no tugging on the eye when you apply this.

 

I am so glad I got this palette and can’t wait to start using it.
